Our very own John Booker turns 32-years-cool this Independence Day, and we’ll be celebrating at Deep South The Bar in Raleigh.

Downtown Raleigh will have a ton going on in City Plaza and Red Hat Amphitheater all day up until 10:30pm- when I Was Totally Destroying It will take the stage to play a show as your official “afterparty” band. Oh, and it’s totally FREE.

Join us early though- we’ll be hanging out on the Deep South patio, drinking and watching the fireworks displays (2 sets this year – 9:15pm above City Plaza and 10:15pm at Red Hat). The patio is arguably the best spot to view the display from, and add in the shimmer wall and the live music spilling over from the amphitheater….awesome.

So come hang! We’ll be there starting at 7pm, and at 10:30pm we’ll play a free set featuring some deep cuts and cover songs you won’t want to miss!  This is our only public performance for the foreseeable future, so we'd love to see you.

We’ll have it all- food, drinks, fireworks, rock and roll, and birthday fun for the nation and Mr. Booktown. Let’s party.
